The Palo Duro Canyon State Park is a vast natural reserve located near the city of Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle. Often called the “Grand Canyon of Texas,” it is the second-largest canyon system in the United States, stretching roughly 120 miles long and reaching depths of up to 250 meters. One of its most famous attractions is the outdoor musical drama “Texas,” performed in the canyon’s amphitheater during the summer.
