Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is a protected nature reserve and temple complex located in Ubud, in central Bali. Officially known as the Mandala Suci Wenara Wana, it is both a spiritual site and a conservation area, home to hundreds of long-tailed macaques that roam freely within the forest.

The sanctuary is filled with dense tropical vegetation, moss-covered statues, and ancient stone pathways that wind through banyan trees and jungle canopy. Within the forest are several Hindu temples dating back to the 14th century, including shrines dedicated to protective spirits. The monkeys are considered sacred guardians of the area, and while they are accustomed to human visitors, they remain wild and active throughout the grounds.
