Tirta Gangga is a former royal water palace located in eastern Bali, in the regency of Karangasem. Built in 1948 by the last king of Karangasem, it is known for its elegant blend of Balinese architecture, ornamental gardens, and carefully designed water features.

The complex is centred around a series of pools, fountains, and stone pathways that sit within lush landscaped gardens. One of its most iconic features is the stepping-stone pathway that crosses a shallow koi-filled pond, allowing visitors to walk across the water while surrounded by sculptures and tropical greenery. Intricately carved statues, tiered fountains, and bathing pools reflect both royal heritage and Hindu symbolism, creating a peaceful and visually striking environment.

Today, Tirta Gangga is a popular cultural attraction as well as a place of historical significance.
