Spanning the Danube River in Bratislava, the UFO Bridge is one of the city’s most striking and futuristic landmarks. Officially known as the Bridge of the Slovak National Uprising, it was completed in 1972 and is instantly recognisable for its bold, asymmetrical design and single pylon structure. Rising above the bridge is its defining feature—a flying saucer-shaped structure that gives the bridge its popular nickname and dominates the city skyline with a retro-futuristic silhouette.

At the top of the pylon, around 95 metres above the river, sits a unique combination of observation deck, restaurant, and bar, all accessible by a quick elevator ride.
